Rebuilt by Wasteland Skateparks in 2025, Ansião Skatepark is a new permanent concrete facility located within Parque Verde do Nabão. It replaced an older plastic modular skatepark that had a basic back-and-forth layout and was considered technically inadequate following an assessment commissioned by the municipality.
The new design moves away from the limitations of the former modular setup, combining transition and street elementsinto a flowing concrete layout. The park includes a quarter pipe, bank, pyramid, curb, speed bump and flat rail, creating a variety of lines across the new riding surface.
The reconstruction formed part of the municipality's Sicó Outdoor Center project, which is intended to strengthen Ansião's outdoor recreation and tourism infrastructure around Parque Verde do Nabão. The municipality has specifically described the skatepark replacement as a way of improving the facility and encouraging greater use by local children, young people and families.
