The Welland Skatepark, located just off Lincoln Street across the canal from the Welland Community Wellness Complex in Welland, Ontario, is a premier central facility that was over a decade in the making. This project was designed and built by New Line Skateparks and realized through the persistent efforts of the Mayor’s Advisory Committee, with significant funding support from the Canada 150 Community Infrastructure Program.
The 8,000-square-foot facility features a highly diverse terrain mix that caters to both street and transition riders. The layout includes an expansive bowl section alongside a comprehensive technical area featuring quarterpipes, flat bars, hips, wedges, and ledges. A signature volcano feature serves as a central focal point, facilitating creative lines and transfers throughout the park. Strategically positioned near the city's downtown core and the Welland Canal, this park has successfully fulfilled the community’s long-term goal of providing a modern, safe, and challenging destination for local and regional youth.
