Stonards Hill Skatepark is a new concrete skatepark located within Stonards Hill Recreation Ground in Epping, Essex. It replaced the former metal-framed composite skatepark and provides a permanent, modern facility for the local skateboarding community. The new skatepark was designed and built by Betongpark for Epping Town Council, with funding from The National Lottery and Qualis, Epping's council-owned property developer.
The compact layout combines transition and street elements, featuring a mini ramp, rollover, volcano, rails, ledges and smooth flat ground. The design gives riders the opportunity to connect different lines while making efficient use of the relatively compact site. The project was developed in collaboration with the local skating community, and the finished park has become a popular addition to Stonards Hill Recreation Ground, attracting skaters of different ages and abilities. The skatepark was constructed using coloured concrete supplied by Capital Concrete, who worked alongside Betongpark on the project.
