Located in Parque de Sinçães in Vila Nova de Famalicão, the new Sinçães Skatepark is a modern 1,000 m² concrete facility designed for both competitive skating and riders learning the sport. The park features two main platforms and 11 groups of obstacles, including ramps, stairs, rails and curbs, creating a compact but highly functional street-oriented layout.
The skatepark was constructed in 2024–2025 by José Moreira Fernandes & Filhos and officially inaugurated on 15 March 2025. The €337,000 municipal project was developed as a replacement for the older skatepark that had occupied the Parque de Sinçães for many years. The new facility was designed to provide a higher-quality space for skateboarding and BMX, with a layout suitable for both beginners and competitive riders.
A skate facility had already existed in Parque de Sinçães by at least 2012, making the new park the latest chapter in the site's long history as a meeting point for local skaters.
