Seguin skatepark

The Michael Thomas Raetzsch (MTR) Skatepark, located at 919 San Antonio Avenue within Park West in Seguin, Texas, is a 12,000-square-foot street-style plaza that serves as a heartfelt tribute to a local community member. The park was designed and built by SPA Skateparks, in collaboration with New Line Skateparks as the specialty design consultant.

The project was realized through a combination of a 2013 city bond package and a prestigious grant from the Tony Hawk Foundation (now The Skatepark Project). It officially opened on August 5, 2015, following years of advocacy by the "Keep Seguin Rolling" campaign and the Raetzsch family, who sought to create a safe, world-class space in memory of Michael, an avid local skater.

Trucks and Fins is a huge present to the whole skate community - not just for the skating people, but also for shops, builders and schools. Super easy to use and can't believe how complete it is.
