ABOUT SKATEPARK

Scalabrini skatepark

Scalabrini skatepark is a concrete park featuring a bowl, miniramp and large transtion section with street elements. The skatepark located on Ingeniero Gualberto Venesia in Rosario is officially known as the Skatepark Parque Scalabrini Ortiz. It is situated within the expansive Parque Scalabrini Ortiz, specifically in the area near the intersection of Avenida Central Argentino and Gualberto Venesia (S2000).

Inaugurated in 2012, this facility was a landmark project for Rosario, as it was the first large-scale, professional-grade concrete skatepark in the city. It was designed to cater to a wide range of skill levels and sports, including skateboarding, BMX, and aggressive inline skating.

The park features a "street" layout integrated with transition elements. Its design includes a series of quarters, banks, several sets of stairs with handrails, and various ledges (hubs). Because it is located within one of the city's most popular green spaces and is adjacent to the Alto Rosario Shopping mall, it is a high-traffic social hub. The park is a free, public facility and is well-known for its wide, open concrete floor, which provides plenty of space for flat-ground tricks between the main obstacles.
