Located inside Parque Urbano de Santa Iria de Azóia, this skatepark has a history dating back to the early 2000s. A skate track was already documented in the park in 2002, making it one of the older skate facilities in the Loures area.
After the original facility deteriorated and remained closed for several years, it was rebuilt and re-equipped by A|Park (the former Academia dos Patins) in 2017. The renovation replaced the old half-pipe with a new half-pipe and added a ground-level grind box and galvanized rail, creating a compact setup focused primarily on transition and basic street skating.
The new equipment was completed on 24 March 2017 as part of the Municipality of Loures' programme to recover and maintain its urban parks. The park remains part of the wider Parque Urbano de Santa Iria de Azóia, which was developed on the site of a former landfill and contains numerous sporting and recreational facilities.
