Located beside the Estádio Municipal de Quarteira within the city's sports complex, the Quarteira Skatepark is an approximately 800 m² facility combining a variety of street and transition obstacles. The layout features a pyramid, jump box, high and low quarters, funbox with rails and curbs, ground-level curbs and a start box, offering lines for both beginners and more experienced riders.
The original skatepark was already established by 2012, although its exact construction year and original builder have not been reliably identified. The park underwent a complete renovation in summer 2017, with new ramps, formats and improved structures replacing the outdated setup. The renovation was carried out by A|Park (the former Academia dos Patins).
The skatepark forms part of the Complexo Desportivo de Quarteira and is used for skateboarding, BMX freestyle and inline skating.
