Located in the Jardim da Corredoura, beside Portalegre's municipal buildings, this medium-sized skatepark provides around 350–400 m² of street-oriented terrain. The layout includes manual pads, rails, a bank with hip, a funbox with straight and descending curbs, and a flatbar, creating a technical setup suitable for both beginners and intermediate riders.
Interestingly, this is a relatively recent addition to Portalegre. In November 2020, the municipality approved an investment of €38,890 for the creation of a skatepark and announced that it would be installed in the Jardim da Corredoura, near the existing tanks. The municipality was preparing to launch the procurement for the equipment and installation at that point.
The park was designed and built by A|Park (the former Academia dos Patins) and was operational in 2021.
The project is particularly significant for Portalegre because research published around 2020 noted that the city did not previously have a skatepark, with a petition calling for its first dedicated skate facility.
