Located within Katariinan Meripuisto (Maritime Park) in Kotka, this 150-square-meter concrete expansion was designed and built in 2014 by Concreteproof for the City of Kotka. The project was commissioned to upgrade an existing modular, element-based skatepark by introducing organic, custom-poured concrete structures to improve overall flow and versatility.
To enhance the site's functionality, Concreteproof added a rising pool corner, additional curved transition quarterpipes, and a speed-increasing bump (vauhtimöykky). These custom concrete additions seamlessly integrated into the space, allowing skaters to maintain momentum and explore creative new lines throughout the park.
