Located at Bromsveien 6B, 3183 Horten, Norway, Horten Skatepark (often referred to by locals as Bromsjordet Skatepark) is recognized as one of Scandinavia’s largest and most legendary wooden outdoor skateparks. Idyllically situated right by the Horten Canal, it is a massive hub for Norwegian skateboarding history.
The park originally put itself on the map in 1998 when the Horten Skateboardklubb built its first massive vert ramp. Today, it boasts a huge wooden vert ramp and an expansive wooden bowl setup, making it a major attraction for transition and vert skaters in Norway.
Managed in cooperation between the local club and the municipality, there is an indoor hall/tent on-site that features additional obstacles. This section gives club members a weatherproof spot to skate year-round.
