ABOUT SKATEPARK

Moss skatepark

Moss Skatepark is a 540 m² cast-in-place concrete skatepark located at Bjerget in Moss, Norway. The park was designed by Fritjof C. Krogvold of SkateLogic and built by Betongpark in 2012, with Park & Anlegg AS as the main contractor. The park combines a 380 m² street section with a 160 m² bowl, creating a continuous layout where riders can move between different obstacles without having to stop or turn around. Features include quarters, rails, ledges, manual pads, banks and a large bowl, providing a mix of street and transition lines.

The project came from a strong local demand for a dedicated skatepark. Young people in Moss had been campaigning for a facility since 2007, before the municipality approved the project. The completed park was officially opened on 3 November 2012.

The design was developed as a collaboration between local Moss skaters and SkateLogic, with the surrounding landscape integrated into the skatepark rather than treating it as a standalone concrete facility. The project cost approximately NOK 11 million and has become a well-used community facility.
