ABOUT SKATEPARK

Horfield skatepark

Horfield Skatepark is a large concrete skatepark next to Horfield Leisure Centre in Bristol. The park combines a dedicated street section with a transition section, creating a variety of lines for different riding styles and abilities. The street area includes banks, hubbas, ledges, stairs and rails, while the transition section features larger ramps and a quarter pipe leading into a volcano. The park is also floodlit, making it possible to ride into the evening.

The skatepark was designed and built by Bendcrete Skateparks in 2008, using a combination of precast concrete ramps and sprayed concrete. Bristol City Council commissioned Bendcrete to construct the facility, with the design developed by Bendcrete's in-house team.
