Located on Rua Barroco D'El Rei in Celorico da Beira, this compact municipal skatepark provides a "mix of transition and street terrain" for local riders. The layout combines ramps and a small bowl with street obstacles including a funbox and flat rail.
The park was already operational by October 2015, when local media reported that residents could use the skatepark. Although 2015 was previously suggested as its construction year, further research indicates that the article does not actually confirm that the park was newly built that year. The facility may be considerably older, but its original construction and opening date have not yet been established through reliable documentation.
This makes Celorico da Beira an interesting candidate in the search for Portugal's older surviving municipal skateparks. Its relatively simple design and ageing infrastructure are characteristic of an earlier generation of Portuguese facilities, and further municipal archive research may eventually reveal when the park was originally constructed.
