Bridlington Gasworx Skatepark is a large concrete facility at Dukes Park on the Yorkshire coast, designed and built by Gravity Skateparks and completed in 2008. The park was created as a dedicated space for the local youth and action-sports community.
The layout is heavily focused on flow and transition, with a large bowl featuring different heights, hips and a distinctive ditch-inspired section. Two further open-sided bowls are linked by a spine, while pyramids, hubbas, a ledge and a bank with rail add street elements to the otherwise transition-heavy layout.
The combination of varied bowls, bumps, corners and street features gives Gasworx a flowing character and allows riders to create lines across much of the park. It remains a free, open-access facility used by skateboarders, BMX riders and scooter riders.
