The skatepark located near Arrecifes 4307 (Q8300) in Neuquén is situated at the intersection of Calle Arrecifes and Calle El Cholar. This facility is a key part of the Plaza del Canal V, located in the western sector of the city.
This site is often referred to as the Skatepark de Canal V or the Skatepark del Oeste. It holds historical significance as it was one of the first neighborhood-driven skateparks in Neuquén. The park has recently undergone a major renovation and expansion, transforming the surrounding area into a modernized public space with improved lighting, green areas, and recreational infrastructure.
The skatepark itself is a concrete facility featuring a street-style layout with diverse obstacles such as quarters, banks, and rails. Its position right next to the local railway tracks and the San Martín thoroughfare makes it a central meeting point for the skating and BMX communities from the Canal V and Huiliches neighborhoods. Since its recent upgrades, it has been consolidated as a "Grand Space of Recreation," serving as a vital hub for youth sports and local competitions in Neuquén.
