Trucks and Fins is a huge present to the whole skate community - not just for the skating people, but also for shops, builders and schools. Super easy to use and can't believe how complete it is.

Located in Jardim 25 de Abril, now known as Parque da Vila, next to the Aljustrel municipal swimming pool, this small wooden skatepark is a simple local facility made up of basic modular obstacles. The layout includes a spine, jump box, quarterpipe, funbox, ledge and bank, arranged in an unusual circuit-like configuration rather than a conventional street-skatepark layout.
The surrounding park was significantly renovated in 2016, when Jardim 25 de Abril was transformed into Parque da Vila. The redevelopment added a range of recreational facilities including minigolf, outdoor fitness equipment, street basketball, water games and a dedicated “zona radical” with skatepark.
The skatepark itself appears to predate that redevelopment, but its original construction date and builder have not yet been reliably established. Its design and condition suggest an older generation of Portuguese modular skateparks rather than one of the newer purpose-built concrete facilities.
Today, the park is showing its age and needs some serious maintenance. The wooden elements have deteriorated and the overall facility would benefit from refurbishment or replacement. Nevertheless, it remains a useful local spot and an interesting example of the small municipal skateparks that appeared throughout Portugal before the current generation of larger concrete parks.
