Located near Praia dos Moinhos on Avenida Infante D. João, this small Bike Skate Parque is part of Alcochete's riverside recreational area, providing a dedicated space for skateboarding and inline skating close to the Tagus.
The history of the park goes back to 2009. In June that year, the Alcochete Municipal Assembly discussed the construction of a skatepark as a response to local demand, including a petition from more than 200 young people in Samouco. The municipality stated that the facility would be built in the area surrounding Praia dos Moinhos.
The park subsequently became part of the municipality's wider Valbom sports and leisure infrastructure. Municipal material confirms that the Bike Skate Parque was already operating and being heavily used by local young people.
The facility is modest, with a straightforward modular setup designed for skateboarding, inline skating and other wheeled sports. Its riverside location gives it a distinctly Portuguese character — a small skatepark with the Tagus and the waterfront just a few steps away.
The exact inauguration date and original builder have not yet been confirmed in the sources I found.
