PARK REVIEWS

9th street park (AKA Poplar) is a pretty decent diy park. It has good variety in the obstacles and is pretty spacious. Obstacles range from beginner friendly, mostly in the front of the park, to medium/high towards to back. The park loses points for a few reasons. Most of the ground is god awful, I am talking huge cracks and literal craters. The park is also filthy, it sits at the bottom of a hill so all the dirt and trash blows down from the street and into the park combined with people littering it can be pretty gross, I recommend bringing a broom. The park also is not really skate able after the sun goes down and even then there is barely any natural light since it is under a bridge. Still a cool little spot, I recommend trying it out if you have not been here.
