Wiesmoor Pumptrack is a modern asphalt pumptrack located at the Jugendplatz on Am Stadion in Wiesmoor, Lower Saxony, Germany. The facility was developed as an extension of the youth sports area that opened in 2024 and provides a dedicated circuit for cycling and other wheeled sports.
The project was initiated following a participation process involving local children and teenagers. Pumptrackde was responsible for the specialist planning and worked directly with young people during a workshop to develop and refine the track layout.
Covering approximately 1,300 m², the asphalt circuit combines rollers, berms and small jumps to create continuous lines around the track. It is designed to be accessible to a wide range of users, from children on balance bikes to experienced riders, and can also be used with BMX bikes, scooters, skateboards and inline skates.
The pumptrack forms part of Wiesmoor's Jugendplatz, alongside the existing skate facilities, soccer cage and streetball court. The project was supported through the European LEADER programme and private donations, with a total investment of approximately €246,000. The track opened in 2026.
As the first asphalt pumptrack in Ostfriesland, the facility represents a significant addition to the region's action-sports infrastructure while continuing Wiesmoor's approach of involving young people directly in the development of public recreational spaces.
