Westwijk Skatepark, officially known as Skatepark De West, is a modern 900 m² concrete skatepark in Amstelveen's Westwijk. The park combines a technical street course with a deep, full-sized bowl, creating a varied layout suitable for both street and transition skating.
The project was initiated by three local young skaters and developed in collaboration with the municipality, local youth workers and professional designers. The community was involved in choosing between different design proposals, making the park a strong example of a locally driven skatepark project.
The design was created by Concrete Matters, while Nine Yards Skateparks handled the engineering and construction. The park was built in 2025 and officially opened on 10 July 2025. Nine Yards used shotcrete construction to create the monolithic concrete park.
