Veterans Park Skatepark, also known as Cypress Skatepark, is a small concrete skate plaza located within the 6.4-acre Veterans Park in Cypress, California. The street-oriented facility features rails, ledges, ramps, stairs and hubbas, including a 3-stair with Hubba and larger handrails. The park is designed for recreational skateboarding and inline skating, with the City of Cypress specifically prohibiting BMX bikes, scooters, motorized vehicles and pedestrians from the skate area. Helmets, elbow pads and knee pads are required. Veterans Park also offers basketball courts, a sand volleyball court, playground equipment, picnic areas, restrooms and parking, making the skatepark part of a larger community recreation facility.
