ABOUT SKATEPARK

Utebo skatepark

Utebo Skatepark is a modern concrete skatepark located in Parque de las Fuentes in Utebo, Zaragoza. The park was designed by architect Javier Labad and built by SpokoRamps, with the project completed in May 2024. The design was developed through a participatory process that allowed local skaters to contribute ideas to the layout.

The park combines park and street skating across a varied layout. Its main feature is a large transition bowl with depths ranging from approximately 1.20 to 2.70 metres, connected to a shallower 0.8-metre bowl designed for carving and surfskate. The two bowls are complemented by a dedicated street section with a selection of ledges, rails and other obstacles.

A skatable pergola with integrated seating is also incorporated into the park, adding another distinctive element to the design. The combination of deep transitions, a shallower carving bowl and street features gives the park several different riding styles within a single facility.

The new skatepark represented a significant investment by Utebo, with the municipality reporting a total project cost of approximately €315,000. The facility was officially put into operation with a local skateboarding demonstration and masterclass on 16 June 2024.
