Covering an impressive 2,500 m², the new skatepark in Linz makes a striking statement in urban sports and leisure culture. The facility was constructed in 2025 by GoodCrete, spanning a total area of 2,500 m² with an approximate project cost of €350,000. The park seamlessly blends street and flow elements into a diverse layout, offering ideal riding conditions for both beginners and advanced skaters. With its clean structures, versatile obstacles, and fluid lines, the space has quickly become a vibrant community hub. A standout highlight of the build is the steel, which was proudly supplied by Voestalpine AG as a strong symbol of regional partnership and industrial heritage. With renowned designer Darko Stevanovic leading the planning phase, it was clear from the very beginning that Linz would receive a world-class skatepark. Since its official opening in September 2025, the facility has enjoyed massive popularity, rapidly transforming into a premier hotspot for the skating community across all of Austria.
