The Tupungato Skatepark, located in Tupungato, Mendoza, Argentina, was inaugurated in May 2019. Situated at the intersection of Secundino Gómez and Dr. Ernesto Mathons streets, this facility is recognized as one of the most comprehensive and functional skateparks in the province. Its design caters to enthusiasts of skateboarding, BMX, and inline skating.
The skatepark's design was crafted by skaters Gustavo Alarcón and Manuel Lobato, ensuring that the layout meets the needs of the skating community. Additionally, a significant artistic intervention was carried out within the park, featuring works by local artists, which adds a unique cultural touch to the facility.
Since its opening, the Tupungato Skatepark has hosted various events and competitions, serving as a central hub for the local skating community. For instance, in a recent event, teams competed to showcase their best tricks, highlighting the park's role in promoting skate culture in the region.
