Tsawwassen Skatepark is a large concrete street-style skatepark located beside the South Delta Recreation Centre in Grauer Park, at 1720 56th Street in Tsawwassen, Delta. The open layout features banks, ledges, rails, hubbas, manual pads, step-ups and gaps, providing terrain for a wide range of skill levels.
The skatepark was developed through a community-led initiative involving the Tsawwassen Skatepark Association and the Municipality of Delta. In 2002, Delta awarded the construction contract to Van der Zalm & Associates Inc. for $149,716 before taxes.
The designer and builder are listed as New Line Skateparks, who feature Tsawwassen Skatepark in their project portfolio. The available records indicate that the original project was approved and contracted in 2002, making 2002 the confirmed construction year.
