The Trápaga-Trapagaran Pumptrack is located at Funicular Park / Bidebieta, 48510 Valle de Trápaga-Trapagaran, Biscay, Spain. Commissioned by the Trapagaranko Udala / Ayuntamiento de Trapagaran (Maître d'ouvrage) to revitalize public sports spaces, the facility was designed and built in 2021 by Basque specialist builder PoolSport Soluciones (Zuinbike Parks by PoolSport).
Located right in town a historic steep funicular railway built in 1926 connects Trapagaran with the high mountain village of Larreineta, offering sweeping views of the Meatzaldea mining region and easy access to downhill mountain biking routes. At the top of the funicular lies La Arboleda, a scenic area famous for its artificial lakes formed in former iron mines, traditional Basque restaurants (alubiadas), and coastal-view hiking trails.
