ABOUT SKATEPARK

Torrelavega skatepark

Torrelavega Skatepark is a new concrete skatepark in Torrelavega, Cantabria, Spain, located next to the María Pardo Sports Pavilion in Nueva Ciudad. The park officially opened in June 2026, replacing the city's former La Lechera skatepark. The 1,138 m² skatepark is built in in-situ concrete and is divided into three main areas: a larger park section with a bowl reaching 2.77 metres and a miniramp, a smaller bowl designed for beginners and intermediate riders, and a street section with hubbas, handrails, flatbars, polejams, pyramids, banks and transfers. The layout was designed to accommodate different disciplines and skill levels, including skateboarding, BMX, roller and scooter.

The project was designed by Daniel Yábar Ramos and constructed by Cooping Ramps, which was awarded the construction contract in 2025. The total investment was €370,529.
