ocated alongside the Sodankylä sports hall, this 450-square-meter facility holds the distinction of being the northernmost skatepark in Finland constructed entirely out of concrete. Built in the summer of 2016 for the Sodankylä Municipality, the project was executed by Concreteproof, who adapted and refined the initial draft design from Windmill Skateparks directly during construction to optimize overall speed and functionality.
The resulting park is exceptionally fast, fluid, and well-balanced, featuring a dynamic blend of terrain tailored for all skill levels. From smooth, approachable obstacles perfect for beginners learning the ropes to challenging lines and aggressive shapes built for advanced riders, this subarctic concrete park serves as a high-performance hub for the regional riding community.
