Sant Joan Despí Skatepark is a modern 1,140 m² concrete skatepark located in Parc de la Fontsanta, replacing an earlier modular skatepark that had been installed at the site by SpokoRamps in 2011. The new facility was designed and built by SpokoRamps and completed in December 2023.
The park combines a flowing bowl with a dedicated street section, creating a varied layout suitable for both transition and street skating. The bowl provides flowing lines and curved transitions, while the street area includes pyramids, banks, rails, ledges and boxes, with features of different heights and configurations. A high quarter/wallride section adds another distinctive element to the layout.
Local skaters were involved in the development of the project and contributed suggestions that were incorporated into the final design. The new concrete park replaced the previous modular setup, which consisted of ramps, a quarter pipe, grindbox and rails and had become outdated.
The skatepark opened at the beginning of 2024, making it one of the newer concrete skateparks in the Barcelona metropolitan area.
