ABOUT SKATEPARK

Sanlúcar de Barrameda skatepark

Sanlúcar de Barrameda Skatepark is a concrete street-focused skatepark with a miniramp, located in the Parque Carmen Maura / Ciudad de los Niños complex. The facility combines a compact skateplaza-style layout with street obstacles including banks, quarters, ledges, stairs and a handrail.

The park is a partial redevelopment of an existing skatepark. In 2022, SpokoRamps removed several of the original elements, added new obstacles requested by local riders and expanded the skateable area. SpokoRamps dates its project to June 2022.

The skatepark was developed within the wider Ciudad de los Niños project at Parque Carmen Maura. The municipality worked with local skaters during the development, and the resulting facility became part of a larger public recreation area that also includes calisthenics, a sports court and disc golf.

The site has subsequently faced access problems. In 2025, local skaters and roller users campaigned for the reopening of the skatepark after it was closed while the municipality considered a private concession for a bar/restaurant at the complex.
