The City of Georgetown, Texas takes great pride in its public parks—and it shows. San Gabriel Park, home to the annual Two Step Inn Festival by C3 Presents, draws thousands of country and Americana fans each year for a celebration of music and community. As part of the San Gabriel Park Phase 3 improvements, the city incorporated the development of a new skatepark into the project. SPA Skateparks was selected as the contractor responsible for building the hard surface skate terrain, with the design led by the talented team at New Line Skateparks. RVi Planning served as the prime architect, while a local general contractor oversaw overall site construction, including preparation of the skatepark’s building pad. Ideally located next to the new restroom facility and shaded by mature trees, the skatepark offers a welcoming environment for skaters and visitors alike. Unique features such as LED lighting under the skate ledges and custom CNC metal plates with star cut-outs add thoughtful design touches that elevate the entire experience.
