Trucks and Fins is a huge present to the whole skate community - not just for the skating people, but also for shops, builders and schools. Super easy to use and can't believe how complete it is.

The Rotary Skatepark, located at 9204 93 Avenue within Toboggan Hill Park in Fort St. John, British Columbia, is a massive 25,000-square-foot facility that serves as the premier youth park for Northern BC. This project was designed and built by New Line Skateparks and officially opened in 2013. The park was the result of over four years of intense advocacy and fundraising by a dedicated committee of local youth, parents, and the Rotary Club, successfully transforming the region's action sports scene with a professional-grade concrete landscape.
The design is an expansive "multi-terrain" complex that offers a full spectrum of riding experiences for all skill levels. It is anchored by a diverse transition section that includes a multi-depth flow bowl with rhythmic hips and a spine, providing the speed and technical variety needed for high-level transition skating and BMX riding. This area flows into a sprawling street plaza that features an "infinite line" layout, equipped with granite-capped hubba ledges, various handrails, manual pads, and a signature stair set. The scale of the park is specifically engineered to accommodate hundreds of users simultaneously, ensuring that skateboarders, scooter riders, and BMXers can all find dedicated space to progress.
Constructed using high-strength, smooth-troweled concrete, the facility was engineered to handle the heavy usage and extreme environmental conditions of the Peace River Country. The park’s architecture emphasizes clean lines and clear sightlines, creating a safe and social environment. It is integrated into the larger Toboggan Hill Park, which also features a disc golf course, a dog park, and nature trails, making it a central recreational destination for the entire family. Today, the Rotary Skatepark is celebrated as a state-of-the-art landmark in Northern BC, recognized for its exceptional scale and its role in legitimizing action sports in the community.
