Reitschule skatepark is a DIY park featuring a Bowl and two smooth miniramps. The Reitschule Skatepark (Reithalle Bowl) is located at Neubrückstrasse 8, 3012 Bern, Switzerland, situated directly at the autonomous cultural center Reitschule (Schützenmatte). Originally built in 2015 as the City of Bern's first public concrete skatepark, the facility underwent a major renovation and expansion commissioned by the City of Bern (Maître d'ouvrage) and executed by Emotional Skateparks GmbH.
The upgrade was initiated to improve accessibility for municipal cleaning staff while enhancing the skatepark's layout for local riders. Using a 3D scan of the original structure, Emotional Skateparks redesigned the bowl's underutilized shallow end, raising and reshaping it to eliminate awkward transition corners. The updated concrete layout features new flow lines, an added extension ledge, and an integrated access staircase along the right side of the bowl, preserving its iconic urban backdrop while broadening line possibilities for skaters of all levels.
