Quilchena Skatepark is a neighbourhood-level concrete skatepark located at the northeast corner of Quilchena Park in Vancouver, British Columbia. The park offers a plaza-style layout with ramps, rails, granite ledges, seat ledges and manual pads, with a mix of street and transition terrain. The City of Vancouver describes it as approximately 460 m² (5,000 ft²), while its later facility assessment records the expanded area at about 6,780 ft².
The original skatepark was built in 2001 as part of the Quilchena Park upgrade and was one of Vancouver's first generation of modern 21st-century skateparks. It underwent a major renovation and expansion in 2017, adding new features and substantially improving the skateability of the original facility.
The City of Vancouver issued a design-build tender for the 2017 repair and renewal project, but the sources I found do not clearly identify the successful contractor or the original 2001 skatepark builder. Therefore, the builder remains unconfirmed.
