The location for the new skate bowl was chosen very strategically, situated right between a youth center and two schools. A true highlight during the concrete pouring phase was seeing the curious children peering eagerly through the construction fence. The project was built by Goodcrete in 2021, covering a total area of 200 m² with an approximate cost of €85,000.
Featuring an outer riding area of 20 by 13 meters and a depth ranging from 1.20 to 1.60 meters, the bowl was seamlessly integrated into a multifunctional outdoor plaza that includes tennis tables, a football area, and a basketball court, making the entire space interactively usable. This venue is intended to serve as an anchor point for the children of this socially disadvantaged neighborhood, while also pairing with the adjacent LAGA grounds to make the entire district more attractive for families.
