Opened in 2020, the Mountain Bike Park at Parque Urbano do Outeiro da Vela is a large 9,500 m² dirt bike facility in Cascais, created through the municipality's Participatory Budget. The project was originally proposed in 2012 as a Mountain Bike Skill Park focused on freeride and dirt jump.
The park features dirt jumps, technical trails, slopestyle and trial areas, with different levels of difficulty designed for both learning and more advanced riding. The municipality officially inaugurated the facility on 15 February 2020.
The site also includes an asphalt pumptrack, which was added later and is documented as being built by Proride Portugal in 2023.
Set on a ridge overlooking Cascais, the park combines a substantial riding area with views over the Atlantic and Cascais Bay, making it one of the more distinctive bike facilities in the region.

Fun little track if you are a skater, but if you are a biker the park has a different flavour because you have a huge dirt track next to it, with see view over Cascais.
