The Nipomo Skatepark, located within Nipomo Community Park, is a highly accessible public recreation facility that was long awaited by the local skate and all-wheel community. Spanning 20,000 square feet of diverse and meticulously planned terrain, the park sets a new standard for action sports developments on the Central Coast. This landmark project was designed by Stantec and built by New Line Skateparks in collaboration with JJ Fisher Construction. The final design is the result of years of passionate advocacy from local skaters and the San Luis Obispo County Parks and Recreation Department, ensuring the facility truly reflects the needs of the community it serves.
The park's layout is engineered to accommodate every style of rider, featuring intersecting street lines equipped with a variety of rails, ledges, stairs, boxes, and a-frames. These technical street elements are perfectly complemented by integrated transitional features, including a dynamic flow bowl and a traditional deep-end pool structure. By blending these diverse skating environments, the Nipomo Skatepark offers endless opportunities for progression, whether you are a beginner finding your balance or an advanced rider looking for a world-class challenge.
