Trucks and Fins is a huge present to the whole skate community - not just for the skating people, but also for shops, builders and schools. Super easy to use and can't believe how complete it is.

Neverland Skatepark, located along Hammaröleden in Karlstad, Sweden, is a legendary underground DIY concrete spot that holds an iconic status in the Swedish raw skateboarding subculture. Built entirely by hand without municipal funding or corporate planners, the park represents pure grassroots skate architecture. It was primarily built by local skateboarder Mattias Nylén alongside a dedicated crew of friends who spent years mixing and pouring concrete by hand to transform a hidden patch of land beneath the bridge connecting Karlstad and Hammarö into a transition paradise. The spot gained widespread international recognition when it was featured on the cover of Confusion Magazine (Issue #25), showcasing the sheer scale of what DIY passion can build.
The layout is a rugged, highly creative concrete sanctuary built underneath a massive bridge highway, which acts as a natural shield against rain and snow—making it one of the very few weatherproof outdoor spots in Värmland.
Because Neverland is an entirely independent DIY spot, it is completely free, publicly accessible, and open twenty-four hours a day. It is highly respected within the national scene, routinely hosting raw community events like the annual "Neverland Skatejam" and the "Hammer-Slamma" transition sessions. As a pure DIY spot, there are no city-maintained amenities like public restrooms or water fountains on the immediate concrete deck, and the park relies entirely on the skate community to keep it clean. Respecting the unwritten rules of DIY—meaning you bring your own broom, sweep out the dust, and pack out your own trash—is strictly expected by the locals who built this monument from scratch.
