Located on Rua Engenheiro Armando Almeida Manso, within the town’s municipal sports zone, the Moura Skatepark serves as a vital recreational hub for the youth of the Baixo Alentejo. Built by the Portuguese specialized firm A-Park, the former Academia dos Patins, the facility was designed to offer a basic space for skating, BMX, and inline in a region where specialized skate infrastructure is relatively rare. Moura features a small, modular-style park designed with a classic back-and-forth setup, built on a solid, smooth concrete slab.
The park is situated in a quiet, dedicated sports area on the outskirts of the historic center, providing a safe environment away from heavy traffic.
Car: Moura is accessible via the N255 and N258. The skatepark is located near the Municipal Stadium and the Public Pools, where there is plenty of dedicated parking.
Walking: It is roughly a 10-15 minute walk or a 5-minute skate from the main Jardim Dr. Santiago in the town center.
