Meylan Skatepark is a modern concrete skatepark located alongside the Gymnase des Buclos on Boulevard des Alpes in Meylan, near Grenoble in southeastern France. Built in 2023, the park was commissioned by the Mairie de Meylan, designed by In&Out Concept and constructed by Vulcano Skateparks.
The approximately 550 m² skatepark forms part of a new sports area developed by the municipality following a participatory consultation with local residents in 2022. The project was designed to provide facilities for skateboarding, BMX and scooters alongside a new city-stade.
The layout combines flow and street riding, with 15 different modules integrated into the concrete surface. Features include a wall with vertical section, Chicago, speed bumps, a funbox, pyramid, kinked flatbar, asymmetric volcano, several quarters, a roll-in, waterfall, Jersey and other banks and transition elements.
Designed to offer a varied riding experience in a relatively compact area, the park combines transitions, banks and technical street obstacles. Its development through local consultation also makes it an example of a municipal skatepark shaped directly by the needs and ideas of the local community.
