Maybole Skatepark is a modern outdoor concrete skatepark on Ladywell Terrace in Maybole, South Ayrshire. The current facility replaced the town's older metal-ramp skatepark and was developed following consultation with local skaters, BMX riders, scooter users and young people.
The new park features a mixture of street and transition terrain, including a bowl, quarter pipes, spine, rollover/blob and a jump box with rollover. The design uses sprayed flexible concrete to create the flowing ramps and transitions requested during the community consultation.
The £224,000+ project was awarded to Bendcrete Leisure Ltd, which carried out the construction using sprayed concrete. The contract award notice confirms Bendcrete as the supplier, with a contract value of £212,500 excluding VAT. Construction took place during 2023–2024, and the new skatepark officially opened on 19 July 2024. The project was jointly funded by South Ayrshire Council and the North Carrick Community Benefit Company.
