The outdoor facility is completely free to enter, un-gated, and accessible to the public 24/7 year-round.
The skatepark forms part of John Dixon Park, a large central green space serving the Markinch community. The surrounding grounds feature open grassy fields, a floodlit pitch, children's play equipment, a trim trail, outdoor gym facilities, and sheltered seating areas. On-street parking is available along adjacent roads like Bowling Green Road, with convenient pedestrian paths linking the park directly to nearby Markinch railway station, local bus routes, and town-center amenities.
