Lampasas skatepark

The City of Lampasas, Texas is proud to announce the development of a new skatepark in Campbell Park, conveniently located adjacent to the existing parking lot shared with Hanna Springs Pool. The vision for a public skatepark in Lampasas began in the early 2010s, sparked by strong community interest and advocacy. In response to the overwhelming public support, city leaders made the project a clear priority. Since 2015, the Wings of Eagles Outreach Ministry has played a key role in rallying community support and keeping momentum strong throughout the project’s development. To ensure the skatepark reflects the needs and desires of local skaters, SPA Skateparks, in collaboration with New Line Skateparks, hosted two community design input meetings—welcoming both in-person and online participation. These sessions were well attended, and to gather even broader feedback, a public survey was distributed to gather additional ideas and insights. Thanks to this collaborative approach, the Lampasas Skatepark is shaping up to be a space designed by the community, for the community.
