ABOUT SKATEPARK

Jedburgh skatepark

The Jedburgh Skatepark is located at Kenmore Bank, Oxnam Rd, Jedburgh TD8 6JJ, United Kingdom (situated along the banks of Jed Water near the town center). Delivered as a £390k project by Scottish Borders Council, the site officially opened on November 8, 2024, as Scotland's first hybrid facility combining a 100-meter asphalt pumptrack with an adjoining concrete skate plaza.

The hybrid complex combines a 100-meter floodlit asphalt pumptrack with features up to 1.3 meters high (built by Velosolutions) with an adjoining concrete street plaza (built by Betongpark). The skatepark section includes a quarterpipe, flat bank, flat bar rail, ledge and manual pad combo, rainbow rail, and a feature flat bank hip with black steelwork and pigmented concrete detailing, seamlessly linking directly into the pumptrack.

Positioned along the scenic Jed Water river, the site connects directly to riverside walking paths framed by the rolling countryside of the Scottish Borders. Just a short walk up the road stands Jedburgh Abbey, a magnificent 12th-century Augustinian abbey ruin, as well as the historic Mary Queen of Scots' House museum in the center of town.
