ABOUT SKATEPARK

Innisfail skatepark

The Innisfail Skatepark, located at the intersection of 42nd Street and 51st Avenue in Innisfail, Alberta, is a premier $1 million recreation facility that was completed in the fall of 2019. This project was designed and built by New Line Skateparks, with local support from Howell's Excavating, following years of advocacy and fundraising led by the Innisfail Kinsmen and Kinette clubs.

The facility spans over 11,100 square feet and features a comprehensive blend of terrain designed for all ability levels. The street section includes traditional elements like manual pads, ledges, stairs, a handrail, hubba, and flat bars. A major highlight for transition riders is the world-class bowl, which features signature tile work in the deep end. Most notably, the park boasts the only known bump-to-bar integrated into a public skatepark in Canada. Strategically located near the aquatic centre and ball diamonds, the park was intentionally designed to host large-scale programming, lessons, and competitions, making it a key destination in Alberta's modern skatepark network.
