Hvalstad Skatepark is part of Hvalstad Aktivitetspark, a roughly 1,000 m² activity park at Hvalstad School in Asker, Norway. The park was built by Betongpark in 2019 and was developed as an inclusive wheeled-sports facility serving both the school and the wider community. The concrete skatepark combines flow and street-style terrain with connections to the pumptrack, including a dedicated jump/flyout section and smooth transitions. The park was designed with extensive user involvement and places particular emphasis on universal accessibility, including facilities that can be used by wheelchair riders without compromising the challenge for more experienced skaters.
Hvalstad Aktivitetspark also includes a pumptrack, mini ramp, parkour and bodyweight training areas, trampolines and a 3-on-3 basketball court, together with social spaces for resting and gathering. The project was developed through cooperation between Hvalstad IL, Hvalstad Vel, local parents, Asker Municipality and Betongpark, with funding from several public and private organisations.
