As part of a comprehensive renovation of the sports park at Hanko Central School, a dedicated zone was reserved to bring a modern skatepark to the heart of the community. Constructed in 2013 by Concreteproof for the City of Hanko, the 350-square-meter facility was designed in-house, adapting core structural elements to maximize riding value while strictly adhering to the project's allocated budget.
The result is a compact, highly functional concrete park that delivers a balanced mix of essential street and transition features for local youth and school students. Thoughtfully engineered with future growth in mind, the park's layout was deliberately planned to allow for seamless expansions and added obstacles as Hanko's active skateboarding community continues to expand.
