Officially launched in early 2024, the brand-new Grobbendonk Skatepark marked the exciting first phase of the municipality's major redevelopment project, Belevingspark De Volle Vaart. Co-funded by the Flemish Government and Platteland Plus, this state-of-the-art concrete facility was built to replace an outdated, expert-only setup that left local beginners sidelined. To ensure the new park truly met the needs of the community, local youth and passionate area riders were heavily involved in the design process, providing key input to shape a layout that welcomes all progression levels.
