The Challi Park Skatepark is located in the Grindelwald Glacier Gorge, 3818 Grindelwald, Canton of Bern (BE), Switzerland, situated adjacent to the existing recreational facilities within an Alpine setting. Commissioned by the Challi Park Association (Maître d'ouvrage) in cooperation with the Municipality of Grindelwald, this free and public outdoor facility was designed and constructed by Emotional Skateparks GmbH, who managed the project from initial planning through final completion.
Engineered using smooth cast-in-place concrete, the skatepark features an open layout that combines classic street obstacles with transition terrain for riders of all skill levels. Highlights include bank transitions, ledges, grinding rails, a mini pool built entirely with authentic pool coping, and creative features such as a minicradle London gap. The skatepark directly connects to an adjoining pump track which can be accessed from a dedicated concrete start platform.
